About us:

Our names are Jim and Paula.

We are two nature lovers that choose to live our lives cruising the UK inland waterways on our narrowboat Anonymous Two.

Our hobbies include walking, reading, listening to music, good home cooked food and sampling the red wines of the world.

We have decided to record our adventures in this blog so that our friends and families can follow our travels. It also helps us remember where we have been and when we were there.

Having followed other boaters blogs over the years, we have settled on a format that we liked from other sites - imitation being the best form of flattery. Actually, the word 'plagiarism' comes to mind!!!

We have often been asked about the reasoning behind the name of our boat, The answer is – we don’t know. We are the third owners of the boat and have never been able to track down the original owners to find out why she is named as she is.
